I sat down with Nick McGraw, one half of the new owners of Buzzbin on Kenmore Boulevard. We talk about the transition to ownership, the importance of community, and plans for the future of the venue.

What started as emotional writing turned into Gosinicc. As time has progressed Ethan went from handling this as a solo project with hired contributors, to creating music within his vocal range and playing with a dedicated band.

Ben Marthey is a singer/songwriter from Medina, Ohio. He and his friend started Van Arlo with the idea of creating a full band sound. While they still perform together as Van Arlo, the name has grown to be the name for Ben’s overall creative musical projects. Ben often works with studio and session musicians to form his own indie/strings/rock creations.

Left Unsaid is a metal band from Stow, Ohio. They stopped by the home studio recently for a conversation about their influences and direction. I spoke with vocalist Cody Weber, bassist Zac Verbic, guitarist Luis Atala, and drummer Jordan Solitro. They currently have six songs they’re developing for anticipated release, and they’re actively gigging with dates through early June on the books.

Coach Cletus and The Other Guy had the opportunity to interview Barberton, Ohio’s singer/songwriter Lauren Brabson. Join use as we learn about how she got started in music as well as the story behind the songs on her first release, “Sad Girl Blues”. She also talks to us about her album “Gypsy” which, like “Sad Girl Blues”, was recorded and released in 2022.

You can often find Lauren performing at local venues and generally doing her part to support local artists and local music.
