Eight Republican presidential candidates can take the stage in Milwaukee for the first 2024 primary debate. But frontrunner Donald Trump won’t be there, and an injury almost made Governor Doug Burgum miss it too. CNN Political Director David Chalian breaks down what to look out for tonight, and explains why it’ll be difficult for the candidates to break out in this race.
