The trial of the "Freedom Convoy" organizers Tamara Lich and Chris Barber has begun. It is expected to last 16 days as the crown is set to call 22 witnesses to give context on the protest in Ottawa and the impact it caused. Stephanie Taylor is a Canadian Press Reporter covering the trial and joins Gormley to share what is happening in the courthouse.

The Canadian Light Source (CLS) at the University of Saskatchewan has developed a better membrane for dialysis machines that could lead to safer treatment for patients with kidney failure. This helps reduce serious complications from traditional dialysis, like blood clots and infections. Dr. Amira Abdelrasoul, an associate professor at the University of Saskatchewan College of Engineering, is an expert on membranes. She joins Gormley to discuss how this new treatment works.

A few weeks back, we met World War 2 veteran Reg "Crash" Harrison, who recently had a book called "Crash Harrison: Tales of a Bomber Pilot Who Defied Death" written about him as a collection of short stories. He is back again and joins Gormley to share more stories from his life as a bomber pilot and his views on life.

One year since the tragic events in James Smith Cree Nation saw 11 people killed and injured 18 others and then led police on a four-day manhunt. The community is still trying to recover from the events that happened.

Overtime was needed, but the Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 32-30 in the Labour Day Classic. Jake Dolegala keeps impressing as the starting QB for the Roughriders as he threw 326 yards and completed 22 of 39 passes.
