Gordon Williams (1942-2018), scientist and Bible teacher, continues his series of messages on “Creation topics” with a look at geology and what he calls the “story of the rocks”. Mr Williams outlines the three main types of rock on planet earth: igneous rock, metamorphic rock, and sedimentary rock. He compares uniformitarianism and catastrophism, as well as discussing plate tectonics and continental drift. It is distinct from the pagan shrine in its theology; from the Jewish synagogue in its Christology; from Christendom in its simplicity; from denominationalism in its identity; from para-church organisations in its unity; from the body of Christ in its boundary; and from every other local assembly in its autonomy. Albert Hull (1936-2015), from Northern Ireland, preached the gospel and taught the truth of God for several decades mainly in Nova Scotia and other parts of Canada and North America. He was a warm-hearted, earnest and much loved servant of the Lord, who was never happier than when he was preaching the gospel of Christ to perishing sinners. Here he is, preaching on “the love of God”, in a video produced by his family soon after his home-call.
