What a profound statement: "I shall not want." There is only ONE who can satisfy all of our wants, needs, and deepest desires - our GOOD SHEPHERD, Jesus Christ!

The final chapter of Ruth paints a "happy" ending to the story we first read in chapter one. Is this just a fairytale ending, a story of good fortune, or does it point us to something much grander? Our lives, much like Ruth's and Naomi's, can seem discouraging, devastating, and at times even tragic. But as we read chapter 4 of Ruth, we are reminded of Paul's words of hope in 2 Corinthians 4:16-17, "this momentary, light affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory". For every single person who is in Christ, our story DOES have a happy ending - beyond all comparison!

Redemption is costly. Redemption is a legal transaction. Redemption is transformational! To receive and experience the redeeming love of God, all you need...is NEED!

In the third chapter of Ruth we discover that Boaz promises to redeem Ruth, the widowed Moabite, and make her his bride. We hope you listen this week to discover how this incredible story points to Jesus as our perfect redeemer and how His promise of redemption invites us to find our security in Him!

In Chapter 2 of the Book of Ruth, we are introduced to a new character, Boaz, who is a stark contrast from the other male characters we've met so far in this story. Boaz is God's faithful and worthy man who extends an abundance of favor and grace to Ruth.
