Unpacking verses usually cited as the words of institution for those who receive communion. We explain three truths that are revealed in the verses in 1 Corinthians l1:23-26: remembrance, proclamation, and hope.

We are part of the family of God and should not treat each other in a way that harms fellow Christians or dishonors the gospel before the lost world around us.

We must define the church according to Scripture and make a strong distinction between the church and the sinful world. We cannot allow the wicked culture to come into the church. On the other hand, Christians are to be about the various duties of life in the world which is the arena of our gospel witness. We must not withdraw from the social, work, and family functions we face as people living in this fallen world.

e explore what it looks like to treat others as we would want to be treated as the practical fulfillment of loving our neighbor as ourselves, and we learn how the spirit of Antichrist leads people to treat others in hypocritical ways.

In this Christmas message, we focus on why God had to become man. John 1:14-18 serves as our primary text which describes how the second person of the Trinity became a man so that we could have the forgiveness of sins. We also prove from predictive prophecies in Isaiah that it is irrational not to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Come and hear for yourself why Christ had to be the “God/man” in order to save us.

God’s sovereign purposes in Messianic salvation going to the ends of the earth, and human responsibility for rejecting Messiah are both truth. We must not reject parts of what the Bible reveals, but believe the truth. Here is no contradiction between God’s justice and His mercy.

The desired outcome is that he would repent and cease living in immorality. Those who are the Lord’s will respond in repentance to such discipline. We cite numerous scriptures to help make these categories clear. Some, like Judas, will never come back and perish. Others, like Peter, come back and serve the Lord.
