Joy is a deep, abiding emotion of intense happiness, well-being, and delight. While happiness

is often a fleeting reaction to external circumstances, joy is an internal state of contentment and peace that can endure even during difficult times.

Nuance - Joy vs. Happiness

Happiness is usually tied to what happens to you (e.g., getting a promotion or eating a great meal). Joy is more closely tied to your core values, gratitude, and a deeper sense of fulfillment.

Gospel Praise is an outreach to care homes and the elderly in N Scotland. It is part of a growing and vibrant ministry reaching into some 16 care homes in Aberdeen by Kings Church Aberdeen. 

Every month, residents in care homes gather for an hour of singing of both Gospel songs and uplifting songs, Short bible messages, laughter, testimonies and fellowship.

A few times a year, Kings Church hosts an afternoon tea with even the best china, lots of Gospel music and short messages.

This last Saturday, Gospel4Grampian Radio went along to record the event. We hope this is uplifting.

The next Gospel Praise is during LOVE Aberdeen - a Week of outreach where teams demonstrate Christ's Love on the streets in  in Aberdeen. The outreach is hosted by Kings Church.  4-9 August 2026.
