We talk about the sad loss of Luke Perry, what a good guy he was and what he meant to us as a generation. We also discuss Alex Trebek revealing his cancer diagnosis. We laugh about Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson making out courtside at a Ranger’s game and come to the conclusion that they’re suited for each other.
Chandra explains the new Game of Thrones trailer and what that means for the upcoming season. (There are some spoilers for past seasons of Game of Thrones if you’d like to avoid those.) We cover the royals, including appearances by Duchesses Meghan and Kate and Kate’s very frumpy custom-made dress. We discuss Kim Kardashian’s hideous leopard head to toe looks in Paris, Taylor Swift’s essay for Elle Magazine, and Gwyneth Paltrow taking credit for popularizing the gluten free diet. Chandra and I also talk about how long it took for stories about Michael Jackson and R. Kelly to reach critical mass.
I also talk to Hecate/Kat for the first time! We discuss the first episode of Leaving Neverland in general terms (we don’t cover the specific abuse) and about her decision to stop listening to Jackson’s music. She also reveals the origin of her pen name. Chandra explains how she came up with the name Kaiser and I talk about how I started Celebitchy.
We had three comments of the week this week. JadedBrit opened up in the Khloe Kardashian post about how invaluable the CB community has been to her as an abuse survivor. Swack wondered how long you could last inside Gwyneth Paltrow’s head. And lucy thanked the dragon god for bringing back Gendry to Game of Thrones.

We were so excited to catch up after we missed our talk last week to cover the Oscars. We discuss The Oscars and how we were scrambling to cover them live after upsets for Best Actress and Best Picture. We also cover the surprisingly biggest story to come out of the Oscars: Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s supposed chemistry and how Irina Shayk, Bradley’s partner, should be jealous. We crack up about Miranda Lambert’s messy marriage to a NYC cop she’s known all of three months who was living with his pregnant mistress when he met her. We also cover recent royal appearances, including Meghan and Harry’s trip to Morocco and Kate and William’s trip to Northern Ireland. Plus Meghan and Kate covered both People and Us Magazine this week. We analyze Jordyn Woods’ appearance on Red Table Talk and whether we think she’s telling the truth. We also talk about Khloe Kardashian’s history of taking back cheating men and blaming the other woman.
In our section answering user questions, I own up to three stories I’ve gotten massively wrong.

Katie and Chandra talk about good and bad plastic surgery including Gisele Bundchen (bad), Sharon Stone (good), and Kim Kardashian (OMG). We have more of our interview with Kristy from Pajiba in which we talk about holiday romance movies. Katie and Dave discuss A Star is Born, Bradley Cooper mumbling and the possible meaning of "Shallow." Katie and Chandra review The Favourite and Can You Ever Forgive Me.

This week we talk about Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt covering US Magazine after Brad went to Jennifer’s 50th birthday party. It felt like old school gossip and like they’d just hit pause for over 15 years. We also discuss Duchess Meghan’s dad selling a handwritten letter she wrote him that showed how gracious she was to him after he sold her out. That was a clever chess move by Meghan, who forced her dad’s hand after mentioning the letter in her sourced People profile. George Clooney defended Meghan and called out the British press, similar to the way he called them out after Diana’s death. Of course the British press came for Clooney after that. And we talk about the Oscars and how much of a mess we think it will be this year.

In this week’s episode of Gossip With Celebitchy, we muse over Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin covering Vogue and revealing their relationship problems during the interview. We discuss Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson’s surprising romance and wonder what exactly she sees in him. The term shamef-ck is used. We talk about Liam Neeson showing his racist ass twice and needing a crisis manager. We also go in depth with Duchess Meghan’s People Magazine cover story, including her Instagram-friendly life, her friends coming to her defense with personal stories, and the surprising news that she’s religious. We also talk about Jennifer Lawrence’s engagement to an art dealer, with Kaiser’s take that eight months isn’t too soon to get engaged. I’m a little more cynical about it!

This week we discuss the fact that Kensington Palace revealed that trolls are targeting both duchesses, the ridiculous rumors that Duchess Meghan isn’t really pregnant and the beautiful angel-faced male dancer, Pepe, whom Celine Dion calls her best friend. We also talk about the horrific hate crime against Jussie Smollet, and how hard it can be to cover those kinds of stories.
We cover the SAG Awards and our Oscar predictions and we review A Star is Born, which we don’t think is Oscar-worthy, and The Wife, which we both loved and hope Glenn Close finally receives an Oscar for. (While I don’t think we have any spoilers for those movies, we do discuss the characters and some scenes in ASIB.)
We also have a special feature with spoiler-free comments from Kristy Puchko at Pajiba about her love for the movie Serenity. I saw Serenity over the weekend and I absolutely loved it! I got some fellow movie-goers to talk to me about it afterwards and one awesome lady said she was happy to see Matthew McConaughey’s butt.
Our user questions this week are about the celebrity couples we love and would hate to see break up and the celebrity couples we miss covering. We end with our weekly feature, the comment of the week.

We dish about Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron’s non-starter romance sponsored by Breitling. We cover the Oscar nominations, including Bradley Cooper’s director snub, Lady Gaga claiming to have slept through the nomination announcements, and whether A Star is Born deserved a Best Picture nomination. We wish we had a cute tea set like Duchess Meghan, and Chandra maintains that no, chocolate truffles don’t go with everything.
We answer your questions, including celebrities’ whose wardrobes we’d like to steal, who we think Gaga will try to copy at the Oscars and vintage gossip we wish we had the chance to cover. Chandra waxes poetic about the 90s and the awesome couples and music of the era. Finally we end with our comments of the week.
