  • Beauty in the City with Glowbar Founders - Rachel Liverman and Neha Govindraj

Did you know it’s National Entrepreneur’s Day today? And it’s also the one year anniversary of the Gossipnista podcast, Nov. 17th. What a ride it’s been for me, but even more so for my two #Girlboss guests on today’s podcast episode!

I had the pleasure of speaking with entrepreneurs plus beauty and skincare enthusiast, Rachel Liverman and Neha Govindraj, the founders of glowbar, a facial spa studio in New York City that’s changing the way you care for oneself and your skin.

Rachel and Neha talk about their work background and how it played into the development of their business, as well as what lead them to finding one another as business partners and how they decided to commit to one another - as all entrepreneurs know, choosing a business partner is almost like marriage! They share some great yet hilariously unconventional tips on how to choose your business partner.

Plus, of course, they talk about their New York story, finding themselves in the city, how the idea for their business came about, how the pandemic has changed things, and so much more!

  • SPOTTED: NYC Escapes - Jim Thorpe, PA

JimThorpe, a little gem located just two hours away from New York City is too charming not to share on this podcast.

All New Yorker’s need a little weekend escape here and there, so in this short-spotted episode find out why this town is called the “Switzerland of America” and often included on national “Best Lists”.

It’s a town filled with tons of character all year round, but it’s especially my favorite during Halloween, with its haunted mansions and old world charm which make for a spooky destination. Not to mention, it’s vintage train ride, which feels as though you’re traveling on the Pineapple Express.
