The Saint Lucia Customs and Excise Department continues to make operational improvements and upgrades geared at optimizing revenue collection, tightening the island’s borders, and improving Saint Lucia’s trade and travel landscape. The Department is also gearing up for the Observance of World Customs Day on Thursday, January 26th, 2023.
The Dennery Primary School honoured its students who have excelled in various classes and in sport when the school hosted an award ceremony using Nobel Laureate Day as a backdrop.
The Dental and Nutrition Units within the Ministry of Health, Wellness Elderly Affairs seized the opportunity to educate students on dental hygiene and the reading of labels, during the District Two annual Fun Run/Walk which took place on January 23, 2023.

Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Heights Medical Complex (MHMC), Dr. Dexter James, has outlined some key strategies that will assist in improving patients’ experience at the medical institution.
His comments were made at a Jan. 17 press conference that provided an opportunity for the management of the Millennium Heights Medical Complex to review its operations and outline its new plans and vision.
The Millennium Heights Medical Complex comprises three facilities namely: the Owen King European Union Hospital, the National Mental Wellness Centre and the Turning Point Rehabilitation Centre.
