The three-day conference held from Oct. 25 to 27, will bring together industry partners to discuss health topics such as non-communicable diseases, hospital sector management, and health management information systems.
The conference will host about 70 participants from the Caribbean region, South America and Korea.
The event is funded by the Korean World Bank partnership facility in collaboration with the World Bank.
Officials from Saint Lucia’s health sector, both public and private, attended a presentation on health financing earlier this week, hosted by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs.
The presentation was facilitated by neurologist, Dr. Kester Nedd, CEO of a group of companies focused on healthcare administration and care management; and was hosted as an activity leading to the implementation of Universal Health Care in Saint Lucia.
