According to the Turkish branch of Motorsport.com, the Turkish Grand Prix is set to return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2026. Meetings were held during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend between all parties involved, with an official announcement expected soon.

Max Verstappen has revealed he went to Oscar Piastri straightaway after the end of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to apologise for their turn 1 collision. Verstappen made a move down Piastri’s inside, resulting in both cars spinning, and the Dutchman was given a ten-second penalty for the incident.

Sergio Pérez admitted after crashing out of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix that he is uncertain over his direct future at Red Bull Racing. Perez crashed out of the season-ending race on the opening lap, when he came together with the Sauber of Valtteri Bottas.

Antonio Pérez, Sergio’s father, who has hit out at journalists reporting that his son will be dropped by Red Bull at the end of the year. Pérez senior even promised to provide a comprehensive list of all lying journalists on Monday.

George Russell and Max Verstappen have taken their feud on the plane to Abu Dhabi, it seems, as Russell has called Verstappen a bully. The Brit also revealed his rival threatened him before the Qatar Grand Prix, claiming Verstappen told him he’d put him on his quote “f*****g head in the wall".
