We typically don't bless those who turn their backs on us. But in wrapping up our study of John's gospel, Pastor John goes to chapter 21 and asks us "What Would Jesus Do?" when faced with such a situation. The answer? - Love them, serve them, and build them up.

Have you ever prayed for something, something you even thought was in the will of god, in it wasn't answered how you wanted to be? In those times hold steady and let God have His perfect will and work in your life.

Pastor John goes to chapter 21 of  John's gospel and the life of the Apostles after the resurrection to give us solid biblical examples and advice.

Sometimes we can't forgive ourselves even when we testify that Jesus has forgiven us. When we do this we are essentially saying that  Jesus' sacrifice was not enough for us. Going back to John 20, Pastor John emphasizes that God's grace, Spirit, and forgiveness is there for us - we just have to accept them.

And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.  If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained (John 20:22‭-‬23 NASB)."

We need to believe His words, they are there for us.

Additionally, service included Moira Pechin's sharing about her rededication to Christ and being baptism before this body of believers.

Pastor John takes us to chapter 20 of John's gospel and the glorious resurrection of Christ. Pastor John focused on Mary's experience at the tomb and then asks us if in times of trial or frustration do we know who we are looking at? Once we do, we are challenged to release our incorrect expectations, go, and share with others all that He is to us.

Pastor John takes us to the 19th chapter of John's gospel and the ultimate sacrifice of Christ, His dying an innocent man for all of the world's sins. Rejoice and thank God - it is paid in full!

Some of our struggles aren't from the devil, they are from our flesh. We know what to do but we don't do it. Speaking from John 18 and 19, Pastor John looks to Pontius Pilate' actions when Christ stood before him for as an example of deciding between earthly success and spiritual purity.

Life can be unfair. Especially when leadership that is supposed to protect and take care of you abuses their roles for personal gains. Pastor John returns chapter 18 of John's gospel and the betrayal and trial of Christ and reminds us in these circumstances we must learn to drink from the cup of obedience.

Going to John 18 and the betrayal and arrest of Christ, Pastor John picks up after Jesus prays for us and asks, "Who are you seeking?" Well, who are you seeking?

Pastor Hannah jumps into Chapter 17 of John and looks at the Lord's prayer, where Jesus goes directly to the Father about his circumstances. He's our Father too and we should approach Him in the same way.
