In this lesson, we look at some of the benefits and challenges of studying the prophetic books of the Bible.

As Paul continues to encourage the Christians at Colossae to stay rooted in their faith, he warns them about being taken away by spiritual pirates, or being condemned by spiritual pharisees. We continue our study of Colossians 2 in this Sermon.

The sands of culture and popular opinion are a poor foundation for a lasting life. We find the lasting foundation in which to sink our roots in our study on Colossians. Don't be deluded into foundations that will sink as time passes. We must focus on the firm footing of Christ.

We consider the biblical command to forgive, including definition of forgiveness and misconceptions of forgiveness. Attention is given to scenarios where the person repents and where he refuses to repent. We compare our own act of forgiveness with God's perfect example toward us.

We have made it to Ezra in the -Look at One Book Series.- In this message, we will learn of God's mercy in bringing Israel back to the Promised Land after 70 years of exile.--We will praise God for His mercy in restoring her and consider His ability to use adversity to promote His kingdom and His purposes.

Where are all of life's treasures hidden- We discover the mystery of true treasure this Sunday. The worship service will follow the truth that in Christ are hidden all the riches and wisdom and knowledge.

What happens when we repent and forsake our sin- We have a restoration to usefulness.

Today's text encourages us to help each other continue on in the faith until we are all around His table in heaven. The family of faith helps each one until we all stand together complete in Christ in heaven.
