As members of the Lord's churches we are to be growing up in Christ. One of the ways listed for this is -Speaking the truth in love- -may grow up into him in all things-, -which is the head, even Christ.-

In this passage of Scripture we find Jesus continuing to heal those who are sick and demon possessed. He heals two blind men and then cast out a devil of one made dumb by his demon possession.

As soon as the man clothed in linen went in with the cherubim and wheels on the right, the cloud of God's glory filled the inner court. The cloud depicting the presence of God.

In our growing in grace and in knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ- that is growing into adult children- we will come to the place where we will be able to -speak the truth in love.-

A ruler of the synagogue pleads with Jesus on behalf of his daughter, who is probably deceased by this time. While traveling to his house Jesus encounter a woman with a disease 12 years and just wanting to touch his garment. Then arriving at the ruler's house receives ridicule and scorn for saying she was not dead but asleep. Jesus because he arose from the dead will one day resurrect those who are asleep in Him.

The cherubim that Ezekiel saw in his vision were on the right side of the House of the Lord, which appears to have been on the south.

The last time in looking at verse 14 of this 4th chapter of Ephesians we saw that the work of the whole local Church was to exercise the gift that we as members have been given, so that we -Be no more children tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine.- This week we look at the phrase -by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.-

In this passage of Scripture the disciples of John the Baptist question Jesus about His disciples and their not fasting. To which Jesus responds that as long as He is with them there is no need for them to fast and then tells them about the -New versus the Old.-

Last week we saw that this vision which Ezekiel saw was the same likeness of the Glory of God as he had seen before. That it was in the firmament above the cherubims. This week we focus more on the likeness as a -sapphire stone- as the -appearance of a throne.-
