Those that hear the Word of God and are obedient, are those Jesus likens to a WISE builder who builds his house on a ROCK.

The six men with destroying weapons in their hands were told to go after the man clothed in linen- they were to execute their task completely not sparing old or young, male or female, but they were not to touched those marked for safety.

As we look at verse 5 of this 9th chapter we consider the thought of the man clothed in linen going before the six destroyers, the men with a slaughter weapon in their hands. Mercy goes before judgment-
