God’s Word in prophecy now unfolds in the Book of Revelation given to the Church directly from the hand of God! “And He (the Lamb) took the book out of the right hand of Him Who sat on the Throne…and the Lamb opened one of the scrolls…” (Revelation 5:7, 6:1)

As the Word of Prophecy unfolds to reveal Jesus as “King of Kings and Lord of Lords” (Revelation 19:16) and “the kingdoms of this earth to become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ” (Revelation 11:15), we reach a pause in the Tribulation to see a “behind the scenes” story. We see John the heavenly anointed recorder of Revelation meeting “another mighty angel” (10:1) and receiving divine, heavenly authority and strength for his mission and our confidence in this Word!

What is causing the incredible and troubling increase today of violence, drug deaths, perversion, confusion and spiritual lawlessness? It is, without a doubt, an increase of Satanic demon activity in these last days. “For the Devil is come down unto you having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time.” (Revelation 12:12) “There are many anti-Christs: whereby we know it is the last time.” (1 John 2:18) Our passage today is about the release of multitudes of imprisoned demonic spirits during The Great Tribulation.

Our spiritual attention should be captured at these verses in a chapter about the Great Tribulation on earth. Even in Tribulation, prayers of the saints are vital and central to God’s plans. God has ordained that the prayers of His people be uttered, heartfelt, continual and ultimately triumphant.
