On this first Lord's Day morning in 2016, we unite as a Church family to pray and dedicate ourselves to make 2016 "The Year of the Bible." We are asking our members to pray and make the effort to read through the Bible in 2016 and be in Bible study in Sunday School to grow in the Word. April 2016 will be “The Month of the Bible” as we pray and unite together to read the entire Bible aloud in our Church Worship Center that month. By God's grace, for His glory and our growth in Christ, we can do this glorious task together.

There is "No Excuse" (Romans 1:19-20) for anyone not to believe in

God or to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour. God has revealed

Himself so clearly, even in our fallen world, that someone has to

willfully reject Him to not become a Christian. Psalm 19 tells us of

four books or self-revelation of a personal God whose name is Jesus.

C.S. Lewis calls Psalm 19 "the most beautiful poem in the Psalter."

Two Scriptures in the Old Testament mention prophecies of the Star of Bethlehem and the Wise Men. Numbers 24:17, Isaiah 60:3 and 6. The Wise Men (Magi) were, no doubt, converts to the God of Israel through the ministry and influence of the prophet Daniel who ruled for seventy years plus over the wise men and educational system of Babylon and Persia. They were probably from the lands of modern day Iran and Iraq. They believed the God News of a coming Messiah and studied the Scriptures and the skies looking for and hoping for His coming.
