As King Solomon continues his search for meaning and purpose, he observes personal experiences and human events and begins to write his spiritual conclusions. He begins to see that the wise man needs the help of godly people and to learn worship in the house of God with others. As John Donne wrote "No man is an island entire of himself." You cannot be a Lone Ranger Christian. We need others. We need the Church. We need true Christian unity. Solomon speaks on "The Beauty of Unity." Like connecting links in a golden chain, we see a unity which leads to a humility which grows into genuine sincerity of life and works.

An introduction to Ecclesiastes. Solomon begins his search by examining what Time is and how we are to relate to Time. This parallels our Grace2020 theme verses: "How I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house, testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ." Acts 20:20-21
