When asked about the most important issues of the day, Jesus reframes the conversation to be about the most important issue of all: the state of our souls. With great love and patience, Jesus urges us to repent while we still can.

In one of Jesus' most famous parables we see a comparison between a religious leader and one of the most hated sinners of his day. By comparing their prayers Jesus shows us what it really looks like to find forgiveness and be accepted by God.

Jesus' parable of the wedding banquet shows us that the Kingdom of Heaven is an invitation to a feast we could never earn, but are freely invited to because of His love. The question is, will we reject it, fake it, or truly accept it and come dressed in the righteousness Christ has provided?
