There are no independent agents in the Christian life. The believer is either following the Lord or the believer is following the dictates of his fallen nature, Satan, and Satan’s kosmic system. Who the Christian follows is his or her own freewill choice.

Good News for People Who Already Believe

What if the gospel is not only the message that brings us to Christ, but also the message that keeps strengthening, shaping, and sustaining us every day? Paul’s words in Romans 1:15 raise an important question: why would believers still need the gospel proclaimed to them? The answer is that the good news of Jesus Christ reaches every phase of salvation—justification, sanctification, and glorification.

What kind of ministry truly strengthens the church? Paul’s words in Romans 1:9–15 reveal more than a travel plan; they reveal the heart of a servant who prays earnestly, longs deeply, trusts God’s providence, and desires spiritual fruit among believers. His intended visit to Rome was not about personal recognition, but about mutual encouragement through the truth of the gospel.

Every believer must face a serious question: am I living with my eyes fixed on God, or have I turned inward and placed myself at the center? James 4:6 declares that God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. This lesson examines the danger of arrogance, the necessity of humility, and the believer’s responsibility to submit to God’s authority.

Somewhere today, a believer is standing firm under pressure because another believer is on their knees in prayer. The question is not whether the battle is real; the question is whether we are awake, engaged, and willing to stand with them before God.

What is the greatest news a person can hear in a world filled with reports of war, suffering, confusion, and fear? It is not the discovery of an ancient artifact or the recovery of some long-lost relic. The greatest news is that a sinner has believed in Jesus Christ, has been saved by grace, and has become part of the family of God.

James 4:6 and the theme of “greater grace.” The Lesson began with the reason for unanswered prayers, the need for clean “spiritual garments,” and the protocol for approaching God in prayer. James 4:5, exploring the concept of righteous versus unrighteous jealousy. that God has a holy jealousy for His people and desires spiritual fellowship with believers, distinguishing between jealousy based on ownership versus what properly belongs to someone. This discussion covered the trichotomous nature of man (body, soul, and spirit) and how salvation brings the spirit to life while the Holy Spirit indwells believers as their mentor and teacher. The lesson emphasized that believers should not equate feelings with the Holy Spirit's presence and discussed the importance of walking in fellowship with God by being filled with the Spirit and repenting when sin separates us from God. The lesson concluded with practical advice about returning to fellowship through confession and the proper understanding of God's grace and discipline.

In Romans 1:7–8, Paul moves from greeting the saints to giving thanks for their faith. In these opening words, we are reminded that believers are beloved of God, called as saints, recipients of grace and peace, and witnesses whose faith is meant to be seen and proclaimed.
