Jesus came to give us new life and that life is founded in the truth of who Jesus Christ is. John makes it very clear that without embracing the one who was “Sent” by God, we will face judgement. This is not something to be passive about—it demands our active faith!

Too often we think that eternal life is just what happens after we are dead. Yet the Bible is clear that eternal life with Jesus Christ starts immediately after we place our faith in Him. In this message, we identify what eternal life really is and how it affects us now!

The Gospel message – that we have been saved by grace through faith in the Cross of Christ – is not just for the beginning of our relationship with Christ. We are told in verse 15 of John 3 that we have been given “Eternal life.” This gift is not just a promise of life after death with God, but of God’s divine presence joining with us now here on earth. The message this week is for all stages of Christian relationships.

Sin easily consumes our life when we are not paying attention or staying on guard. Jesus cleansed the temple as a clear call to purity from sin or distraction in our devotion to God. The temple cleansing is an invitation to have the perpetual purifying power of Christ in our life.

We all seek pleasure and happiness every day. God wants us to have joy, but it often comes in a different way than what we were looking for. In this message, we look at the miracle of the water to wine and see how joy fulfills our deepest longing.

The call to follow Jesus is not easy—especially when it lacks explanation or human reasoning. In John 1, we see Jesus call His disciples without giving them any specific clarity. He asked for them to come and follow; He does the same for us every day.

When Jesus invites us to follow Him, we are faced with a decision: will we allow our own passion or conclusions to distract us? Will doubts stop us? Or will we be devoted no matter what? In this message, we see the first disciples wrestle with this decision.

There was no other person in history ever called “The lamb of God” and there never will be anyone in the future who bears that title. Because He was God, He was the only one that could pay the price for our sins to gain righteousness and forgiveness.
