Following Christ is not easy—it demands your life! If we don’t have a plan for keeping our life on track, we will quickly fall into patterns of laziness or desires that are less than Godly. In this message Josh give five specific ways to ensure we walk in God’s best plan for us each day. 

So far John has spoken a lot about love and obedience, but now he is going to combine the idea of faith and its necessity in our life. In chapter 5 we learn that the road to love is paved with faith in Christ. 

Can you imagine a life of fearless confidence? The Apostle John wanted nothing more than his readers to think of the day they meet the Lord as a day of joy, not of judgement. You and I can enjoy a secure relationship with God now and in the future when we allow for His love to be perfect in us. 

The church is God’s means of expressing His love to the world. When we fully understand the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we will be quick to love others as we have been loved by God. We live out our love by encouraging, comforting, and admonishing others to abide in the love of God.
