A world gripped by sin needs rescuing. That rescue can't come through human will or ingenuity, because we ourselfvs are the problem. Instead, we need a rescuer from God, a 'better Adam', and to look forwad to his coming with eager expectation.

What is the biggest problem human beings face? We could give many answers, but the Bible gives one answer that goes deeper than all of them: the problem of human sin. Thanfully, the bible also establishes the solution.

God doesn't just create powerfully, he also relates covenantally. He invites us to choose his ways, and so choose life.

On Day Six, Creation is not yet finished. On days Six and Seven, God crowns his creation by making human beings in his image, and sets up rest as its goal. The gospel of Jesus restores our humanity, and regains our rest.

The true story of the Bible starts by showing us a wonderful world, made by a wonderful God. But this isn't just an origin story: it's a clear rejection of all other worldviews and worships which fails to place the one and only Creator at the absolute centre.
