After Lazarus was raised from the dead, the Jews were ready to make Jesus their King, but it was circumstantial for most. As soon as the tables turned and Jesus was on trial, they were ready to crucify Him. Has Jesus done a miracle in you? Have you made him your King?

God set up an amazing plan. In II Samuel God had David build him a house, but more importantly, he made a covenant with David that a kingdom will be set up that will last forever! That covenant was fulfilled through Jesus! He now prepares a house for believers!

Eight small verses tell us the story of Mary anointing Jesus, but there is so much packed into this short passage! We need to be at His feet and the fragrance of Him should be apparent to all around us!

We are united in Christ as ONE body! We need to make sure that our lives reflect Him!

We are commanded to honor those in authority, but what do you do when your leaders are crazy!?

When Jesus called out Lazarus from the tomb, this was a huge message to everyone! The Disciples, The women who contacted Jesus, The people watching, The Jews, and Even Lazarus! Do you really believe?

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love. - I Corinthians 16:13-14

When Lazarus died, it was a good reminder that we still have sickness and death. Even in Jesus, we will still experience suffering. God's timing is perfect. Jesus used this to teach about death, resurrection, and the glory of God!

In Samuel, Isreal was going through a time of repentance and God helped them to defeat the Philistines. Samuel erected the Stone of Help (Ebenezer) to remind them of how God provided. What is your Ebenezer? Something that reminds you of how God provided for you!
