Pastor Chris kicks off our new sermon series called Thriving in Babylon - inspired by Dr. Larry Osborne's book of the same title. In this series, we will be looking at the life of Daniel and considering our call to make an impact in a time and place where it is less favorable to serve and honor the Lord. 

Here in week one, we consider Daniel's observation of God's sovereign control even in a place like Babylon.

Pastor Chris is back and continuing our Pray Like This sermon series. This week we are considering the fruit of forgiveness and how our prayer life can help inform our opportunities to forgive others in our lives. 

Casey Olsen continues our series Pray Like This by looking at Matthew 6:11: "Give us today our daily bread." This is a short verse in the Gospel of Matthew, but is a theme found all throughout the Scriptures. Whether we are experiencing lack or living in excess, the Lord's Prayer offers us a guide to humble ourselves before the Lord so that we would rely on Him for our daily bread. 

Casey Olsen, our Operations Director, opens a brand new sermon series called Pray Like This. In this series, we are considering what it looks like to be proactive in prayer. Jesus gave us the Lord's Prayer as a model for consistent connection and communion with God. This week we considered the implications of Matthew 6:9-10.

Matt Cline, a local elder at Grace City Eugene, wraps up our Witness sermon series with an important message about witnessing for Christ in work and school environments. Matt helpfully reminds us that if we are going to be witnesses in places of work, we must remember why God has put us there in the first place. As we gain a healthier perspective of work, we will naturally become better witnesses for Christ. 

Pastor Chris continues our sermon series witness by considering the cost that inevitably comes with following Jesus and witnessing for Him to those around us. It is a price worth paying and one that Jesus ultimately demonstrated for us first.
