These 3 little words from this prayer explain the plan, purpose, and progress of Gods Kingdom.

We must petition God to hallow his name in our discipleship, in our prayer, in our preaching, in our witnessing, in our work, and in eternity. Our ultimate concern is not that our lives be comfortable, but that God be glorified, and that our lives, even our prayers, put Gods glory on display.

The model for praying reminds us of the beauty and necessity of corporate praying, OUR. This incredible opportunity is afforded to us because of a living relationship with have through Christ!

Jesus sets up the model prayer with a warningdont do this like they do. They are wrongthey want attention and applause - thats not how this works!

Placing our confidence wholly in Christ brings us ultimate joy and satisfaction. Knowing Christ more fully, also causes us to recognize misplaced confidence and resist self-reliance. Christ is better than anything and EVERYTHING and worth it all!
