"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you..." (Matt 4:19, NIV) When we accept the invitation to follow Jesus, our lives will dramatically change. Following Jesus is a journey that will require change, growth, and transformation into Christ likeness.

When we become disciples of Jesus, we surrender our lives to His authority. We are no longer boss - "Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body." (1 Cor. 6:19-20)

As "Growing Disciples" we are called to be a transparent vessel for God that allows His love, grace and truth to openly and authentically shine through.

Discipleship has been wrongly defined as meeting regularly with someone to manage their relationship with “the rules” when it’s intended to be a dynamic relationship where each person involved is spurred on to radically follow Jesus.
