Emotions, We all are born with them. We all experience them. But are you mastering your emotions? Or are they mastering you?

Growing disciples must develop a Christ-like character that honors and glorifies God. Our bodies were created for His purposes – a “temple” where His Spirit dwells – is any part of our body not bringing honor and glory to Him?

Throughout life we’ve often asked these questions: “How can I know the will of God?” “Am I doing God’s will?” “When does God reveal His will to us and how does he do it?” “What is God’s will for the rest of my life?” While only God can answer some of these questions, He has revealed to us much of what we need to do, to follow His will for our lives.

We are all created for a divine purpose that God knows and that God wants us to walk in. Why is having a vision for our life so important and why is walking in that vision so challenging?

“Walking on Water” It illustrates that we need more faith, more courage to take risks, and more radical obedience - much like Peter exhibited when getting out of the boat.

As growing disciples of Christ, we need to think about what we’re thinking about! Why is renewing our minds (Romans 12:2) so important? And if it is so important, how do we do it?

Embracing Excellence is growing in an intimate relationship with Christ that causes you to abandon a belief system, and way of life that is contrary to the will of God for your life. Philippians 3:7-10

Jesus is the only one who lived a perfect life. Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus is the only one who can give us true life, eternal life (John 11:25, 14:6).
