None of us are exposed to troubles and dangers like Paul was--for the sake of the gospel, that being said, ANYONE who--forsakes the world and turns from their sins to Christ will--suffer and have troubles in the world.--Every one of the apostles of Christ suffered greatly in their--gospel ministries, just as the Lord told them that they would---John 15-18-25, Acts 9-15-16, 1 John 3-13--None of us are apostles, but if you're in Christ, a faithful,--lively, devoted, verbal servant and witness for Christ in the--world, you WILL BE subjected to similar troubles, and you will--be exposed to the same hatred as was our Lord and His--apostles, and many other saints of old.

Question---What special act of Providense did God exercise toward manin the estate wherein he was created---Answer---When God had created man, He entered into a covenemamt of works with him upon the condition of perfect obediance, forbiding him to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, upon pain of death.

There is no questioning these -I AM- statements to be the Lord Jesus, but here in the Song of Solomon, in the statement, -I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys-, I hesitate-. I want to know WHY- - Sometimes we take little phrases -single verses- from the Word of God, and we assume their meaning based on what we've heard or been taught- but without having personally studied the meaning and context for ourselves.

One cannot overstate or place a value on the powerful influence of a godly wife and mother on her husband and children-- I say, a good and virtuous wife and godly mother, because regrettably, there are ungodly women, who become mothers in the world- the scriptures record the true accounts of ungodly women who became mothers, who provoked and influenced their children to wickedness, and to sin against God to the ruining of their lives and damning of their souls-

Life in this present world brings with it many questions.
