Hypocritical. Judgemental. Out of touch. Is that really what the church should be known for? How does Jesus want us to repair our reputation with the watching world?

If you had to decide what the last psalm would be in this great songbook for God's people, what would you choose? The book of Psalms culminates in this simple yet profound song with an enduring refrain for all creation: Praise the LORD!

We are all prone to forget things. But when we forget how amazing the love of God is for us it distances us and damages our relationship. In Psalm 136 we are reminded repeatedly: his steadfast love endures forever!

When people disappoint and betray us and all around it seems like things are falling, what can we cling to that is solid? Is there anyone who can be truly trusted?

Why would God inspire such a short Psalm? To keep things simple. He knows we're prone to forget even the most important things. This Psalm reminds us of one of the most basic truths we have: we were made to praise him.

There are times in our lives when we are tempted to doubt God's faithfulness. The psalmist pens this inspired song to teach God’s people in every age the age-old truth: Our faithful God can be trusted with the hope of His people.

God called us to be worshippers whose hearts are filled with God, because were were created and saved to worship!

Respond to your God by worshipping him joyfully, reverently, and obediently!

In Psalm 63, we see David rejoicing in God's love in the midst of heart-wrenching circumstances. In this sermon, we consider the three core convictions that enabled David to find satisfaction in God, and they are convictions that we can learn from today: 1) You need God; 2) God will satisfy you with his loyal love; and 3) In the end, God will make things right.

As we live and grow, we'll experience joy, dismay, strength and weakness. How do we keep eternity in mind?
