Paul's letter to the Thessalonians reminds them that Jesus will return in power to reign. Their tribulation will be intense, but good will triumph.

Paul wants to encourage the Thessalonian church to excel in good works, even in the face of persecution. But what will make their resolve for good grow?

How can we know God? Through Jesus. How do we meet Jesus? Through his word. How do we live obediently? By studying and serving together.
