When the Devil tempted Jesus to worship him, Jesus responded emphatically that we are to worship and serve only God. A follower of Christ then is to have a worshipful heart like His. Today we are going to answer the question, “What does the life of a person with a worshipful heart look like?”

To the casual reader or the hurried churchgoer, it might seem that Jesus had no plan, no intentional structure during His ministry. However, to the person who studies Christ’s life, you will find an intentional lifestyle that flowed from a singular passion.

The term “gospel” is a staple in the culture of Grace Fellowship, but what exactly does it mean? This morning we will be asking this question of the Apostle Paul. What did Paul think this term meant, and how does it relate to you?

We have been considering a critical issue the last two weeks that can be summarized in two questions: Why don’t more people get saved and what about people who get saved but seem so lost? Both of these questions drive us to Jesus’ teaching in the parable of the soils. Today we will answer these timely questions. We are glad you have joined us today.

Last week we considered a question: “Why don’t more people get saved?” I then introduced the Parable of the Soils that serves as Jesus’ answer to this question. Today we will continue to explore this question in part 2.

“Why don’t more people get saved?” It was a great question asked by a young adult who recently came to trust Christ as Lord and Savior. As he expressed his new life to family and friends, he was shocked that they didn’t share his enthusiasm nor did they want to trust Christ in order to have their sins forgiven. Today we start a three-week excursion into exploring this question.

One of the most reassuring truths of the Bible is that no matter how egregious your sin, you can still find forgiveness from God through the sacrifice of Christ. But is this really true? Is there an unpardonable sin? In today’s passage, Jesus seems to contradict the commonly held view that God will forgive any sin, no matter how bad that sin is. What does Jesus mean when he says, “… whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven”?

When something is valued, it inspires loyalty. You can mark it down; when a person values something or someone they will show it in loyalty. In today’s passage, we will see this principle come to life as Jesus connects the value of His message and ministry over loyalty to one’s family.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most important event in human history but why? What is it about the resurrection that makes it so critical to believe? Today, we will consider four reasons as to why the reality of the resurrection is not merely important, but absolutely vital if a person is to have any hope of a relationship with God.
