What if the life that looks “fine” on the outside doesn’t feel good to you, and you're struggling to find joy?
In this episode, I sit down with therapist Black Yogi and speaker Katiuscia Gray for a real conversation about finding joy after trauma, relationships, motherhood, and years of putting yourself last.
We talk about learning who you are again, building community as an adult, doing things even when you’re scared, and why sometimes you have to stop waiting for other people to create the life you want.

What if the story you're telling yourself is only one possible outcome?
So many of us talk ourselves out of the very things we've been called to do—not because we aren't capable, but because our brains are really good at noticing what could go wrong before imagining what could go right.
In this episode, I'm catching you up on what I've been building, why this podcast is evolving, and what I'm learning about continuing to move even when I don't have every piece figured out.
We also get into the psychology behind it: negativity bias, why anxiety can sound a whole lot like truth, and the simple question I've been using to interrupt it:
What else could be true?
Because maybe the pitch goes well. Maybe they say yes. Maybe the thing you're worried won't work opens a door you couldn't see coming. The outcome you're afraid of is possible—but it's not the only possibility.
We talk about:
If you've been hesitating, overthinking, or trying to figure out your next move, this one is for you.
And when you're done, ask yourself:
What am I assuming will happen—and what else could be true?
Share this episode with a woman who might need that question too.

Building something meaningful is hard — and nobody says that enough.
In this episode, I get honest about the guilt, doubt, and loneliness that comes with being a woman who builds. I share what I've been carrying while planning our 4th annual retreat, why Moses is the ultimate reluctant leader, and what I actually do when the emotional weight of responsibility tries to talk me out of my purpose.
We talk about:
• Why the people who started with you may not finish with you
• The "groaning in the spirit" that has no words
• How feelings and body sensations talk you out of purpose
• What my mom taught me about getting away
• What you're willing to put down so you can pick yourself up
• Trusting the unknown — including the time I missed my flight to my own retreat
If you've ever whispered "God, take this from me" — this one is for you, sis.

You did the hard thing. You got the promotion, started the business, left the toxic environment — and somehow, it still doesn't feel the way you thought it would. The overthinking is still there. The pressure is still there. And you can't figure out why.
In this episode, Amanda Fludd breaks down a pattern that high-achieving women know all too well but rarely have language for: changing your environment without changing the beliefs you carry into it. Using the story of Moses and the Israelites leaving Egypt, Amanda unpacks why our nervous systems don't automatically reset when our circumstances improve — and what it actually takes to stop the old patterns from following you into your next level.
You'll learn:
If you've ever worked hard to get somewhere and still felt stuck, this episode will help you understand why — and what to do about it.
Ready to go deeper? If you're tired of carrying patterns that don't belong in your current season, the EMDR Intensive is the reset you've been needing. Learn more → https://amandafludd.com/therapyintensive/

I didn’t sit down knowing what this episode would lean into, but I knew it was time to come back.
In the season two opener of Grace, Growth, and Business, I share how a simple act of obedience reminded me that God moves when we show up and often in ways that aren’t even about us.
It's a good conversation about what happens when we drift from purpose, how fear and disappointment quietly pull us out of position, and why God doesn’t need more from you — He works with what you already have.
This episode is for the woman who’s been hesitating, wondering whether she's waited too long, whether she's ready for the new position, or whether the challenges have a purpose.
This might just be your sign to step back in.

Sis, let’s get real for a second. That inner voice telling you “I’m lazy… I can’t stay consistent… I’m always behind”? That’s not the truth. What feels like a motivation problem is often your body waving the red flag, saying “I’m done.”
In this episode, we’re flipping the script on motivation. You’ll learn:
This is not about grinding harder or piling on more shame. It’s about honoring your capacity, giving yourself permission to slow down, and building strategy that supports your system and your goals.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re behind, or like something is wrong with you because you just can't keep up with your goals, or get it together—this conversation will remind you about a truth we don't talk about enough and a better way forward.
