  • Nobody Is Coming to Save You… But Someone Already Did | Faith & Independence

Have you ever heard something that stayed with you for years, only to understand it differently much later?

In this episode of Grace in the In-Between, I reflect on a sentence that once hurt me: “Nobody is coming to save you.”

Over a quiet Sunday morning coffee, I found myself thinking about independence, learning to accept help, and the beautiful balance between carrying our own responsibilities and caring for one another.

Through Galatians 6:2–5, we explore what it means to be capable without becoming entirely self-reliant, and how the love of Jesus shapes the way we live and treat those around us.

A gentle reflection on faith, kindness, and remembering that while nobody else can live our lives for us, Someone has already given His life for us.

And as always, this week we walk by faith, held by grace. 🤍

  • Give Yourself Permission to Be Amazing | Stop Seeking Validation & Know Your Worth

How often do we wait for someone else to recognise our worth before we begin to see it ourselves?

After attending a leadership conference, I walked away with one powerful reminder: Give yourself permission to be amazing.

In this episode of Grace in the In-Between, we’re talking about confidence, self-worth, faith and why we don’t need a promotion, a title or someone else’s approval to recognise the gifts God has given us.

Through reflections on Ephesians 2:10 and Colossians 3:23–24, I share why our value isn’t measured by recognition, but by the God who created us with purpose.

Whether you’re a mother, a teacher, a leader or a woman finding her way, this episode is your reminder to stop making yourself smaller and start believing in what you have to offer.

You don’t need permission to be amazing. You just need to stop waiting for it.

  • We Said We'd Be Friends Forever 🤍

It started with an old photograph. Two fifteen-year-old girls, dragon crop tops, shiny foreheads, and a friendship they were absolutely certain would last forever.

Almost thirty years later, I found myself sitting on the floor, laughing at those memories, before realising I had absolutely no idea where my old best friend was today.

This week, we’re chatting about the friendships that shaped us, the ones that quietly disappeared, and those wonderful friends who live on different continents but can pick up a conversation after three months as though no time has passed.

A little nostalgia, a few laughs, and a question I think many of us have asked: whatever happened to the friends we thought we’d know forever?

So come on in. Let’s talk about friendship, growing older, and the women who knew us along the way. 🤍

  • I Keep Becoming Someone I’ve Never Been Before | Finding Grace in Who We’re Becoming

Have you ever looked at the woman you are now and thought, When did I become her?

We spend so much of our lives becoming versions of ourselves we’ve never been before: daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, friend, and all the versions in between. And somehow, we expect ourselves to know exactly what we’re doing, even when we’ve never lived this part before.

In this episode of Grace in the In-Between, I’m reflecting on the women we’ve been, the women who raised us, and the women we are still becoming. We’ll talk about giving our younger selves a little more tenderness, seeing our mothers as women who were becoming too, and the beautiful truth I’ve been learning in Ephesians: grace comes first.

Our lives change. Our roles change. We change. But our identity in Christ does not.

Maybe you don’t need to have this version of yourself completely figured out yet. Maybe she needs a little grace while she learns. 🤍

She has never lived this part before.

And as always, this week we walk in faith, held by grace. 🤍

  • While We Wait, We Live | Grace in the In-Between

What if the life we’re waiting for isn’t the only life that matters?

I caught myself wishing the next two years would hurry up, until an unexpected encounter with a childhood friend made me realise just how much life happens between one version of ourselves and the next.

In this episode, I’m reflecting on the plans we make, the futures we pray for, and the temptation to treat the space between here and there as something to simply get through.

We talk about becoming, trusting God when the future still scares us, and what surrender can look like when your hand is still trembling.

Because worry can’t give us certainty. And faith doesn’t mean we always know how things will turn out.

Sometimes it simply means choosing to walk into the unknown with God.

A question to carry with you this week:
What am I in danger of wishing away while I wait?

While we wait, we live. We pray. We trust. We surrender, even scared. And we keep growing.

  • When You Fall Off Track: Grace to Start Again | When the Way Becomes the Wall

We start with such good intentions. The new routine. The exercise plan. The Bible study. The fast. The promise that this time, I’m really going to stick to it.

    And then… we stop.

But sometimes the hardest part isn’t stopping. It’s how quickly we begin speaking harshly to ourselves because we did.

In this episode of Grace in the In-Between, we’re talking about the plans we didn’t finish, the rhythms we lost, and the grace to try again without turning an unfinished goal into a verdict on who we are.

Because if you planned 30 days and made it to 13, those 13 days still mattered. You learned. You grew. You showed up.

Stopping doesn’t erase what came before it.

Maybe you don’t need another perfect Monday, another new plan, or another promise to do better.

Maybe you just need a little grace to try again. 🤍

  • Do You Really Believe God Loves You?

Do you know God loves you… but sometimes struggle to really believe it for yourself?

This week, I’ve been sitting with Psalm 139 and thinking about what it means to be fully known by God and still completely loved by Him. And I’ve been asking myself some honest questions about prayer, doubt and faith—especially in those moments when I wonder, Who am I that God would listen to me?

A conversation with a friend brought me back to one of the most powerful reminders of faith in my own life: my daughter Brooklynn, who was three years old when she became desperately ill. Her simple trust in Jesus has stayed with me for seventeen years. But my story also holds the other side of prayer—the prayers that didn’t end the way I desperately hoped they would.

So what does faith look like when we don’t know what God is going to do?

Maybe faith isn’t certainty about the outcome. Maybe it is remembering who God is when fear makes us forget.

In this episode of Grace in the InBetween, we’re talking about God’s love, unanswered prayers, childlike faith, Psalm 139, and why the cross—not our circumstances—is where we ultimately look when we need reminding that we are loved.

If your faith has felt a little shaky lately, come sit with me for this one.

  • The Gift of Interruption: Stay Ready

What happens when your usual rhythm with God is interrupted?

After weeks away from home, I realised something I hadn’t expected: my routine with God had changed, but my relationship with Him hadn’t. In fact, the quiet time I had spent praying, reading Scripture and seeking Him at home had been preparing me for moments I never knew were coming.

In this episode of Grace in the In-Between, I reflect on what it means to build our foundation with God before we need to stand on it, why ordinary time with Him is never wasted, and why I’ve chosen the next 70 days to keep building.

Because we don’t know when life will call upon the faith we’re building today.

Stay close. Stay grounded. Stay ready. 🤍

  • Look at You | Remembering God’s Faithfulness in Every Season

Have you ever stopped long enough to realise how far God has already brought you?

We’re often so focused on what’s next, the unanswered prayer, the next goal, the next season—that we forget to notice what God has already done. In this episode of Grace in the In-Between, Lindzé reflects on a simple family conversation that became a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness.

Through the story of Ebenezer in 1 Samuel 7:12, you’ll discover why remembering is such an important part of our faith. Sometimes the greatest encouragement for what’s ahead isn’t found by looking forward, but by looking back and recognising the quiet ways God has carried us through.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re still waiting, still growing, or simply needed a reminder that God hasn’t left your side, this episode is for you.

  • One Day at a Time | When Tomorrow Steals Today’s Joy

Episode 18 – One Day at a Time

Have you ever found yourself grieving the end of a season before it's even over?

As summer begins in Dubai, all three of my daughters are finally home together for two precious weeks. Yet instead of simply enjoying the moments in front of me, I realised how easily my heart was racing ahead—to airport goodbyes, empty rooms, and the next chapter.

In this episode, we're exploring what God taught the Israelites through the gift of manna: that His grace was never meant to be stored up for tomorrow, but received one day at a time.

Together we'll reflect on why we so often miss today's blessings because we're already carrying tomorrow's worries, and how Jesus gently invites us to live differently.

Whether you're navigating change, waiting for what's next, missing someone you love, or simply learning to be present in this season, I hope this conversation encourages you to slow down, breathe deeply, and receive today's gift.

    Scripture: Matthew 6:34, Exodus 16

Because God's grace isn't just waiting for us in the next chapter.

    He's already here today.

If this episode encouraged you, I’d love for you to follow the podcast and share it with someone who needs the reminder to take life one day at a time. Your support helps Grace in the InBetween reach more people who need hope in the ordinary moments of life.
