Under the New Covenant, Christ's blood is completely sufficient to cleanse the soul from sin.  

Jesus Christ, the better sacrificer and the better sacrifice, offers a better covenant.
The new covenant is one with unlimited and intimate access to God, complete cleansing from sin, and eternal atonement. 

It is easy for us to know about God. Scientists, philosophers, and people throughout time have acknowledged that a God exists. There are those who sit in church every Sunday and possess a lot of knowledge about God. However, knowing about God and knowing God are not the same.    

Why do we carry out the ordinance of baptism? More importantly, what does it mean? This week, we look at the model and command of Jesus as appealed to by Paul in Romans 6.

Why do we participate in Baptism and the Lord's Supper? This week, we look at the Scriptural foundation for the practice of the Lord's Supper and the attitude which we should have when we participate in this ordinance.

In comparing the Old Covenant to the New, the author of Hebrews utilizes the prophecy of Jeremiah. Since God promised something better in the Old Testament, there are grounds for the argument that Jesus' work is better than what the Mosaic Covenant offered. In fact, the Mosaic Covenant was just one step on the journey of redemptive history. 

The author of Hebrews has made the case that Jesus is the Great High Priest, but what does that mean for us? How does the reality of his priestly role affect our battle with sin?
