- Hope gone, loss, and a depressing situation

- I saw the Lord- Seated, Exalted, Holy, the Whole Earth full of His Glory

- Even in death God has life

II. Look Up, See and Experience God (v. 4-7)

- Hope and New life require a new look and a new direction

- God is doing a new thing!

- Surrender our lack… Sing a new song (Ps 98:1)

- God’s Touch shakes us and changes us!

- What new thing can God do in your life?

III. Uzziah’s death was Isaiah’s Commissioning! (v. 8-9a)

- Start a New Line

- God uses more than just “Kings”

- Who will go for Us? No greater honor!

- Here Am I, Send Me! No greater declaration, no greater place of security and purpose!

- Wealth- Nothing we desire compares to her. What is your desire?

- Wisdom is a Tree of Life, bestowing long life, riches, and honor

- Her ways are pleasant and her paths are peace.

III. Wisdom’s How To Manual (v. 5-6)

- Trust in the Lord, don’t Lean on your limited understanding- Straight Paths, Health and Nourishment

- Honor the Lord with your wealth- your storehouse will be filled to overflowing

- Character counts, Integrity deeply affects the Issues of life

- Being after God’s heart is the wellspring of Integrity; our heroes become our models

- Integrity owns its failures

- Integrity is not what we are paid for but what we live for, whether it’s the pasture or the palace! (1 Chron 29:3)

III. Skillfulness of Hands (1 Samuel 17:26, 36, 45 and 49)

- Skillfulness is cultivated before we arrive

- Motivated by Vision, not deterred by Criticism

- Understands the battle is the Lords; no weapon formed against us will prosper
