God's plan is us (the church). And God's plan will work out, despite us.

Is the worship of God a priority for you? Worship was the basis of all Israel's victories. What can we learn from this?

When Israel repented of their sin, there was a path forward for them. The Lord would provide all that they needed for life and godliness. How often do we need to be reminded that we need to wait on the Lord?

As a church, do we take sin seriously? There are dire consequences if we do not. Even in the New Covenant we have examples of Acts 5.1-11; 1 Corinthians 5.1-13, 11.30. Likewise, Israel had to deal with their sin in the camp.

We often read the story of Joshua and focus on what Israel did to conquer and capture the promised land. All the while we miss what the Lord had done for them.

Where do spouses meet in the Bible? I know that may sound like a silly question, but in John 4, wedding bells should be ringing as this particular Bride meets her Bridegroom in a peculiar place.
