Thus far during this Advent series, we have looked at Christ coming into the world to be our prophet, priest, and king. Now we will focus on his coming into the world to be our Savior.

During the third Advent Sunday the pink candle is lit, and it symbolizes joy to remind us of the joy of Christ coming into the world and the words of the angels to the shepherds in the field in Luke 2-10-11. This message focuses on the birth of our King Jesus, the son of David.

The second person of the Godhead took on human flesh, came into the world, and was born in the little town of Bethlehem to be the high priest for his people. Why does that matter- And why should we celebrate it during the Christmas season-

In Christ's first advent, he comes as Prophet, Priest, King, Savior, and God. These are what we celebrate during Advent season.

In this psalm, David expresses his praise and gratitude for who God is and all he has done for David and for humanity.

Paul provides a very practical way Christians can -bear one another's burdens,- picking up on the theme from v.2.

In these verses, Paul begins fleshing out the practical implications of -walking by the Spirit- -5-25-. What does that look like in the believer's life- What does that look like in the life of the church- How should walking by the Spirit shape and inform the way we interact with the saints and with the outside world-

Gentleness is not something we should only expect from our mothers and grandmothers, but should characterize all believers--men and women.

Most understand what it means to be faithful- thus, in this message we are looking at the faithfulness of God, being encouraged by it, and then seeking to understand how God's faithfulness should shape and inform our lives.
