As we proceed through Psalm 51, David continues with his prayer of repentance; he knew God could and would forgive. He knew He was a God who not only forgave, but this God of mercy also restored. David had fallen far; not just in his sin, but the amazing amount of self-deception that allowed him to sin so flagrantly.
