The story of Jonah gives us so much good insight into how and why to obey, the first time God asks, but it also shows us how often we, like him, run from God's grace. Why would we seek God? Why would we choose to believe, or follow after Him, or any one or any thing... unless they were worthy? The end of Nehemiah 8:10 reads, "the joy of the LORD is your strength". In this lesson we look at how to abide in that joy of the LORD regardless the circumstances. In Ephesians 4:1-7 the Apostle Paul reminds us how we are to walk worthy of the wonderful gift of Jesus Christ.

God chose to use the Church, the body of Christ to glorify Himself to the heavenly places. Imagine, Him using us frail, sinful people to accomplish such a high task. It only happens as we walk with Him. Lesson Guide is in the attachments, open it up and let's learn.

Whether it be the small annoyances in our daily life or the scary, major battles we face, it's important to remember The Battle Belongs to the Lord. Pull up the lesson guide under resources and find out what we're to be doing with these skirmishes and situations that come into our lives.

Before we eagerly claim a promise for ourselves we need to check the context. The Israelites were given this wonderful promise from God through the prophet Jeremiah, however, it would be a long wait for it's fulfilment. Who is wise? The Bible is clear that there is a marked difference between godly wisdom and worldly wisdom. In this lesson we get a glimpse of what it means to have godly wisdom, and "master the art of living a life according to God's expectations."
