Do you have fear, worry or stress in your life? If so, it's time to be set free! In Jesus, we find new life and a chance to be freed from the troubles of this world. A holy life, dedicated to God, can be free of fear, worry and stress.

Has it been a rough year? New year not quite living up to expectations? We are set free in Christ! We have purpose in Christ and are transformed to do good works. In this new year, let us open our hearts, minds and souls to move closer to God.

It's a brand new year with much opportunity. It's up to us to seize the day, the week and the year. God calls us to faithfulness and accountability to each other, the church and to His purposes.

Patience is a virtue that few of us excel at, especially in a media saturated crisis driven world. God calls us to be a people of hope, faith and peace. Can we provide hope in the midst of our hectic days? Does faith shine in our lives?

Family is important to God. We cannot do life alone. Allow God to work in your life and see the connections before you. God is continually at work bringing people together for His purpose. Let His purpose be your purpose.

Is it tough to find hope some days? For the people of God in the first century before Jesus, they had little reason to rejoice. They were searching and praying for a savior. In Jesus, we can firmly place our hope.

We begin our four Sunday journey to Christmas today. Advent is a time of eager anticipation, anxiously awaiting the coming of Christ. Over these four weeks, we celebrate Hope, Faith, Joy and Peace in the name of Jesus.
