Christians are thankful people. There is no middle ground here. We are thankful for the work of God in Jesus Christ. We are thankful for the pirit who leads, guides and sustains us. We are thankful for all things. We know it and live it daily.

God is full of grace, mercy and love. Are His people? We pile on rule after rule and custom after custom. Those things do not always connect to the grace, mercy and love of God.

To go to the next level in anything takes perseverance, hard work and passion. In our spiritual journey, it sometimes will mean letting go of a few things, and other times, taking new things on.

What does a win look like for Christ? New disciples, baptisms or people growing in Christ? To be successful in following Christ, we need to define a purpose and a win for our walk.

In football, there is always a starting point and an ending point. In our lives, we have a starting point and ending point. Rarely do we know the ending point, so every moment needs to count.

Our words and deeds show our commitments. If we take a good long look at our where we spend our time, what we are passionate about and where our resources end up, we will discover what we love.

Have you given up on a prayer because it has not happened yet? Today, we will examine a prayer Jesus prayed that when examined, seems a bit overly hopefully in the context of his impending betrayal and death.

Thoughtful prayer leads to faithful living. When we pray, we open ourselves to the leading of the Lord. During our daily walk, God will lead us in righteous paths, if we let Him. When we think long, we begin to see a larger plan.

Persistence in prayer is required. We can't just pray one day and give up. God desires a conversation and commitment. Our prayers need to be ongoing, faithful and offered with deep humility.

How big is your faith? How big are your dreams? Our dreams are directly proportional to the size of our faith. Most of our dreams are just too small. We should be dreaming big with God to make disciples of all nations!
