God is with us. It seems like we only remember that at Christmas. During our difficulties, tragedies and struggles, God continues to guide, lead and strengthen us. Let us open our hearts today to His teaching. What does God say to us this day?

Jesus sent the disciples out to share the good news. He cautioned them with one of the most intriguing and confusing statements in all the Bible. He talks to them about sheep, wolves, snakes and doves.

Many Christians feel their main holy obligation is to attend a worship service. This is one of our spiritual practices. But linked with this is a call by Christ to go out into the world and make disciples.

God is all around. God is with us. In Jesus, we learn how much God truly loves us. The embrace of God is always available. Do we approach Him with open arms, or do we run? This day, may you reach out and up to God and feel His full embrace.
