Ali continues our new series called Jesus BC – Discovering Christ before Christmas. We see that the promise made to Abraham was fulfilled in Jesus (“through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed”). We see too how the test given to Abraham amazingly demonstrated the love that God our Father has for us by giving up His only Son for us through love. 

Paul looks at the timeline and main characters that proceed Jesus, as we start our new series that looks at how Jesus and his coming is written throughout the entirety of the Old Testament

We finish our series in Acts by hearing what the great commission of Jesus looks like for our extended Grace community today. Paul encourages us to recapture the much bigger picture that the Bible paints of God who is Holy and Just but who is also Love. 

Ali helps us look at the example of Paul in Acts 28. We see that Paul's walk involved faith, service, hardship, healing, fellowship and taking opportunities to testify about Jesus.

Ali helps us explore Paul’s experience of sailing, shipwreck and storm as recorded in Acts 27.  Whilst we may not understand the purpose of the storms of life, it is important to keep our eyes on Jesus and to trust that He will be working for our good.

Paul speaks to us from Acts 26 and explores the difficult and seemingly fruitless 2 years that the Apostle Paul spent in prison in Caesarea. He asks the question: What impact does it make in each of our lives this week to know that, no matter what our circumstances look like, God is in control and everything is going according to plan?

Paul speaks to us from Acts 25 about the ongoing and unsuccessful attempts of the Sanhedrin to slander the Apostle Paul’s reputation and how Paul keeps the conversation centred on the resurrection of Jesus. In response to this we are challenged to reflect on 2 questions: How is my life speaking into my world? & If I am questioned about the hope in me, what is my answer? 

Ali helps us reflect on Paul's continuing trials after returning from his 3rd mission trip (as recorded in Acts 24). We are encouraged to follow Paul's example and always look for opportunities to share the hope that we have.

Paul speaks to us from Acts 23 on how the Apostle Paul retracted a statement and owned his outspoken ‘mistake’. In today’s society ‘owning a mistake’ is countercultural and can speak volumes to those who do not believe in the death, resurrection and life we have in Jesus.
