One of the proofs that a person is truly at rest is that he gives thanks. Rest in God is one principal requirement that every child of God must possess.

One benefit of Thanksgiving is that it provides room for man to agree with God in prayers. Thus, being thankful is proof that we agree with God in/and for all things.

Just as there are several tongues, tribes, and languages, there are also numerous musical instruments. In the nation of Christ, where there is neither Jew nor Greek, there are no specifics to the instruments that can be used in praising God. Faith is the culture of the nation of Christ.

Therefore, every instrument that faith in Christ permits is okay for use as a musical instrument in praising God. The book of Titus 1 verse 15 says, "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled." Thus, the heart and hand of the player/ instrumentalist determine if the instrument can be used in praising God.

A believer who knows that his portion is Christ, and knows that strength and might only comes from God must have faith in Christ, the stumbling stone and rock laid in zion. Otherwise, because of ignorance, though Christ is the portion/ inheritance of the New Creation, the ignorant Christian would continually have hard, difficult, and burdensome experiences that lead to shame.

The understanding of Jehovah-Nissi, our banner, gives us the knowledge that as long as we continue to have Emunah in our portion, Christ Jesus, no matter the Amaleks that come to attack us, Yahweh has won them all for us.

The truth remains that any praise carried out in tears is preferred by God to praises accompanied by laughter. It is in this case that our tears go up to God as sweet incense.

One advantage garnered from the numerous benefits of Thanksgiving and Praise to God is that, as we declare the greatness of God, we also renew our minds. Hence, everything we do as believers is geared towards making us more conscious of God and living out Holiness.

Praise helps the Church as an individual/body to remain conscious of the presence of God. Lack of praise and poor understanding of praise, makes the Church lose consciousness of the presence of God. Whereas, our consciousness determines our experience of an encounter with the manifested presence of God.

Praise does not only help make our light shine as the light of the world, but it also helps brotherly love continue among brethren in the body of Christ.

A church without spots and wrinkles is a church that praises God as a body that leads to the experience of the diverse manifestation of the presence of God as a body. Thereby, making the body of Christ a force to be reckoned with and can not be stopped.

In praises to God, we must understand that there are several songs and hymns, and when we seek to praise God ONLY songs and hymns of praise are to be employed.
