Prof. Johan de Villiers holds numerous degrees relating to Maths and Science, notably a Ph.D. from Cambridge University. Since he retired as a Professor at Stellenbosch University, he's received the title of Extraordinary Professor in Mathematics and currently holds a Senior Researcher position at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Muizenberg. He has also written two books, but his passion extends beyond numbers, however, as he is also the conductor of our very own local Libertas choir, which has performed internationally.
