Key Scripture: Luke 23:33-43   -  Both criminals mocked Jesus at first.  (Matt. 27:44)   Rulers mocked. v. 35 Soldiers mocked. vs. 36-37   - One criminal was hurling abuse at Jesus.  v. 39   - One criminal recognized his sin and the innocence of Jesus.  vs. 40-41   - This one criminal believed and received the Lord Jesus Christ.  v. 42   - This man was saved by Jesus.  v. 43   - The Good News is salvation is totally a free gift from God. - The Good News is we can be forgiven of our sin by God. - The Good News is it is never too late to receive Jesus.   - One man died with sin in him and on him. - One man died with sin in him but not on him. - Jesus died with sin on Him but not in Him.   “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”  2 Corinthians 5:21   Learn more about Gratis Church at gratischurch.com.

Key Text:  Rev. 12:11, John 4:39-42, Acts 4:13   Have you shared your testimony?   - What is a testimony?  It is a declaration of proof or a profession of faith   - It is a public recounting of a religious conversion or experience. - It is a formal written or spoken statement, especially one given in a court of law.   - A Biblical Testimony is sharing with someone else about your relationship with God.   - How do you get a testimony?  You get a testimony by being tested.   - Important Truths about Your Testimony:   - When God answers your prayer, no matter how big or small, you need to share it.  Why? - It is a stewardship issue. - If you don’t turn the answer to your prayer into praise, it may very well turn into pride. - Giving your testimony is the way you give God all the glory.   - Second Person Testimony is Heresay: John 4:39-42, Acts 4:13   It’s not a testimony if you don’t share it with others.   If you don’t share your testimony you are robbing God of the glory He deserves.   So get a testimony and give a testimony.   Learn more about Gratis Church at gratischurch.com.

Key Text:  Matthew 6:19-21   - What is treasure?  Treasure is anything you value above all else.  Your treasure motivates you to action.   - Jesus speaks of earthly treasure and it’s value.  v. 19   - Jesus speaks of eternal treasure and it’s value.  v. 20   - We store up “treasure in heaven” when we make choices on earth that benefit God’s kingdom.   - Jesus knows your treasure reveals your values.  v. 21   - When Jesus is our treasure, we will commit our resources: our time, talent, and treasure to His kingdom work.     What is God’s treasure?   - God’s earthly treasure is His chosen people Israel.  Deut. 7:6 - God’s eternal treasure is those who have believed and received the Lord Jesus Christ.  1 Peter 2:9-10     Learn more about Gratis Church at gratischurch.com

Talent:  How am I using my talent for the kingdom of God?   Text:  Matthew 25:14-30   - What is a talent?    - It is a gift from God. - It is a natural ability such as (music, art, athletic, mechanics or even math) - It improves with practice and time. - It is to be used for the good of others.   “What do you have that you did not receive?  And if you received it why do you boast as if you had not received it?”  1 Corinthians 4:7     - The Parable of the Talents:  Matthew 25:14-30   In this Parable a talent is a very large sum of money.  In todays money, a talent of gold would be worth $1,800,000.     - Observations to apply from The Parable of the Talents:   - We are stewards, not owners. - We are each given a talent according to our ability. - We have a choice to operate out of trust or out of fear. - God rewards good stewardship. - God punishes bad stewardship.   How are you using your talent for the kingdom of God?   Learn more about Gratis Church at gratischurch.com.

Key Scripture: Ephesians 5:1, 15-16

- Paul gives the command: “Be imitators of God, as beloved children.”  5:1    Imitator = a follower;  a person who copies the behavior or actions of another.  To mimic.   - Paul gives the command:  “Be careful how you walk.”  5:15   - Not as unwise men (foolish), but as wise (skilled, expert)   - Making the most of your time.  5:16   - Paul gives the reason why:  “because the days are evil.”   - Evil (wicked, bad) (full of labor, hardship, and annoyance)   There are Five Areas of how we spend our TIME  1. Spiritual 2. Relational 3. Educational 4. Financial (Occupation) 5. Physical (Health, Recreation)
