  • Finding the Bright Side featuring Author Betty Dunn | Episode 73

Welcome to Be Who You Want to Be: Your Business, Your Life. The podcast for micropreneurs designing your business and your life on your own terms. I’m your host, Kandas Rodarte, and today I’m joined by author, Betty Dunn.

    Before we get started…

When I relaunched this podcast last year, I had no idea what would happen during COVID but obviously, things are going fantastic as I’ve recorded over 30 episodes since the relaunch. And with episode 75 dropping on April 6, 2021. I’d love to feature YOUR micropreneur story, dear listener, in episode 75. Click SHARE YOUR STORY to submit yours.

And now, on to today’s interview!

After receiving a frightening medical diagnosis, Betty Dunn, wrote the first draft of her novel Medusa during sleepless nights. Her main character in the novel seeks to understand why God allows people to suffer. Betty studied writing at the University of Michigan and the Lake Michigan Writing Project and worked as a high school English teacher and public relations writer in four states while raising her family. She continues to write from her home in West Michigan, where she tends chickens, feeds naughty dogs, and enjoys her grown-up children.

Today on the podcast I’m joined by Rapid Transformation Therapist, Nicky Price.

    Before we get started…

When Nicky Price realized she was not following her passion and purpose she decided to make a change.

So, Nicky had a year where everything went wrong, from menopause, skin cancer, walking away from her ‘comfort blanket’ of a job, her part-time side business collapsing, losing all her savings, losing both her Dad and then her lifelong best friend… all in a single year.

Fast forward a few years and now Nicky has completely retrained as a Rapid Transformation Therapist (RTT), Law of Attraction and Energy coach and has a thriving practice where she helps her clients to remove lifelong blocks or beliefs about themselves that are not serving them.

When you are not feeling aligned with what you’re doing, then it starts to show…. and if you still don’t listen or take action, then the Universe gives you a big shake-up! Nicky Price
