  • The Family Bible Conference | Pastor Jeremy Wilson | Remember the Days of Old
The sermon focuses on Deuteronomy chapter 32, specifically the Song of Moses, urging believers to remember God's deliverance, leading, and provision during their spiritual wilderness journey. It emphasizes that God allows trials and long paths not out of indifference but to humble individuals, reveal the true state of their hearts, and ultimately do them good in their latter end. The preacher illustrates how self-centeredness leads to despair while focusing on God's blessings fosters humility and gratitude. By recalling past faithfulness, Christians are encouraged to trust that God provides for their needs through His Word rather than their own strength. The message concludes with a call to let these memories shape one's will and response to God.

  • The Secret of a Happy Life
This sermon explores the biblical concept of a merry heart as a product of divine wisdom rather than mere personality or circumstance. Drawing primarily from the book of Proverbs, the message outlines three directives for cultivating joy: recognizing its outward expression, understanding its healing benefits, and actively nurturing it through obedience and gratitude. The preacher emphasizes that lasting cheerfulness is developed gradually by aligning one's life with God's truth and maintaining a spirit of contentment regardless of external conditions. Ultimately, possessing a joyful heart refreshes others and strengthens the believer physically and emotionally. The central call is to choose gratitude and cooperation with God to transform one's outlook on life.

  • Providence in Action
The sermon explores how God fulfills His promises through ordinary means rather than miraculous interventions, using the narrative of Paul's protection in Acts 23. It contrasts the wicked conspiracy of the Jews with the faithful actions of a young boy, a Roman commander, and a governor who inadvertently uphold justice. The preacher emphasizes that believers should recognize God's sovereign care in daily circumstances and relationships instead of seeking only extraordinary signs. This perspective encourages gratitude for everyday people and trials as tools for spiritual growth and divine shaping. Ultimately, the message asserts that nothing occurs by chance, but all events are governed by God to bring about His good purposes.

  • Brag on God!
Brother Jay Scruggs | 1 Thessalonians 1:8 The sermon challenges Christians to overcome societal intimidation and boldly share their faith, contrasting modern silence with the enthusiastic testimonies of biblical figures. Drawing from John 9, Mark 5, and Luke 13, the speaker illustrates how individuals healed by Jesus immediately proclaimed what He had done for them without fear of rejection or ridicule. The message urges believers to reject the passive 'silent majority' mentality and instead actively witness to others, including those on the margins of society. It emphasizes that personal conversion should result in a public declaration of gratitude and confidence in Christ's power. Ultimately, the goal is to restore genuine thankfulness and courage in professing Jesus as Savior.

  • 11 Daniel
Belshazzar who was the son of Nabonidus the last legitimate king of Babylon who ruled for a very short time. His kingship is so short that historians consider it in the timing of his father reign. As one who inherited the control of Babylonian without earning his position, he abused his authority with excessive revelry and overindulgent, living. He did not seem to have any thankfulness or gratitude for the office he inherited. He simply abused the trust of government for which he obtained. The biblical text shares a story of his demise and the loss of the Babylonian Kingdom to the Medes and the Persians. Had he realized what his grandfather Nebuchadnezzar learned he could have prevented his demise as well as the loss of the kingdom. Nebuchadnezzar's dream which Daniel interpreted accurately for him gave the king the sequence of empires which our Lord Jesus called this the Times of The Gentiles (Luke 21:24).

  • Fight Deception by Embracing Gratitude
Because there are demonic deceivers who pervert a living faith in Christ with a dead man-centered asceticism, we must consciously embrace a life of God-glorifying gratitude that keeps our joy focused on Him. • Increasing Responsive Service - A Paradigm of Faith
This sermon examines Luke 17 to illustrate the proper relationship between believers and God as unworthy servants responding to divine mercy. The preacher contrasts the nine ungrateful lepers with the one Samaritan who returned in faith to give thanks, highlighting that true worship stems from recognizing one's spiritual uncleanness and dependence on Christ. Central to the message is the conviction that Jesus cures sinners not because they are worthy, but out of His sovereign grace. The text emphasizes that genuine saving faith inevitably produces a heart of gratitude and reverent obedience. Believers are called to abandon prideful entitlement and instead approach God with humble petitions for mercy and loud praise for His salvation.

  • The Lord's Supper: Looking in Four Directions
(AI Generated Summary) The sermon explores the Lord's Supper as a divine provision that feeds the soul through four distinct spiritual perspectives. It emphasizes looking backward to Christ's sacrificial death, forward to His second coming, inward for personal self-examination, and around to foster church unity. The message highlights how this simple ordinance reminds believers of their dependence on Jesus and calls them to reconcile with one another. By integrating these directions, the practice becomes a profound act of worship that strengthens both individual faith and communal bonds. Ultimately, the teaching encourages living in gratitude and obedience based on the love demonstrated through Christ's voluntary sacrifice.
